Q. Who can become a consignor?
A. Anyone can consign their items.
Q. What are the benefits of being a consignor?
A. Consignors receive 70% of all sold items. Consignors are also given 2 passes at drop off for the Private Presale, one for you and one for a friend. Consignors get to shop the 50% off Private Presale also.
Q. Do consignors have an item limit?
A. Yes, 15 items minimum unless you have furniture or equipment.
Q. Do consingors have an item maximum?
A. No. If you have more than 100 items, please contact us to schedule a drop off appointment!
Q. Is there a fee to consign?
A. Yes, an $8 consignor fee is deducted from your FINAL total sales. There is no money out of pocket for you.
Q. Do consignors get to shop early?
A. Yes, all consignors receive 2 early shopping passes. One for you and one for a guest.
Q. How do I sign up to become a consignor and get a number?
A. Click on "Register" from the Top Menu.
Q. Are children allowed at the pre-sales?
A. No. There is a great deal of shoppers and for everyone's safety we must stick to this rule. Bring a tape measure and your child's measurements and enjoy a Mom's Night Out!
Q. How should I price my items?
A. A good rule of thumb is 1/3 of the original price. (i.e., if you paid $70 for that boutique outfit, price it at $20 or LOWER) Remember, this is resale. Most shoppers are looking for quality items at a fraction of the cost. Few people will spend half of the original cost.
Q. I have some items that are too big for a Ziplock bag, what do I do?
A. Please place these items in a Ziplock BIG bag. We have seen far too many great things NOT sell because of poor packaging. Securely package and label all items!
Q. Should I iron my clothes?
A. Wrinkled clothes do not sell! We will likely send them home if they are extremely wrinkled. Please do what is neccessary to make sure your clothes are look clean and neat.
Q. I do not smoke but my clothes have been stored in a tote and has a small odor. Is this okay?
A. We will not accept ANY clothing that has an odor of any kind. When it is hung on the rack with other clothes, the odor spreads. We must be sensitive to others allergies and we absolutely can not sell anything with smoke odor, pet odor, or any other kind of odor. Clothing with pet hair will not be accepted either.
Q. What do I need at drop off?
A. You will need to have 30-45 minutes for drop off, especially if you come on the last 2 days. In addition to all your items, you will need to be organized! You need to have all clothing items sorted by SIZE & GENDER before you come! If you do not sort them, you will have to wait longer for an empty rack to sort your items once you arrive.
Q. How do I secure small pieces with toys or equipment?
A. Place them in a ziplock bag and then seal the ziplock with clear packing tape. Please write your consignor number only with a permanant marker to the outside of the ziplock,
Q. How do I carry my items while shopping?
A. Please bring a tote or laundry basket. We have also been known to use large trash cans with wheels!
