Boutique For A Week, Kid's Zone and Grown Zone is an upscale consignment event business. We are proud to serve our state of Georgia and beyond! Shoppers come from all over Georgia, Tennesee, Alabama and beyond to purchase excellent quality merchandise at affordable prices.
We now have hundreds of consignors and thousands of shoppers. Our most popular brands are Gymboree, Gap, Baby Lulu, Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Cottontail Originals, Chez Ami, Kelly's Kid's, and Amanda Remembered. Our most popular brands for the Adult event are Lucky Brand, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Under Amour, Northface, Hollister, A&F, and American Eagle. Our most popular toys are Little Tikes outdoor playgrounds, Racing Car beds, Kitchens, Doll Houses, Tool Benches, Barbie Jeeps, wooden train sets, and American Girl Dolls and accessories. We also carry beautiful nursery furniture and bedding, cradles, carseats, strollers, high chairs, exer-saucers and walkers as well as high quality gently used furniture for your entire home.
Thanks to our Consignors who generously donate their unsold items after each sale. We make contributions to several wonderful organizations that reach out to those in need in our community.
Tell me again, how does this work?
We receive HIGH QUALITY children's clothing on consignment and sell at our event. We give consignors a generous 70% of the sale price (which they select). Consignor's checks are available on Pick up Day after the sale. You don't have to wait for it to arrive in the mail!
Do you carry only children's clothing at the children's event?
No. At our events we carry children's furniture, nursery bedding, maternity clothing and nursing accessories and infant equipment (such as strollers, high chairs, car seats and portable cribs.) We also carry high quality toys, children's books, video games and sports accessories. We will be selling high quality gently used furniture. We are excited for this opportunity to continue out efforts to help meet the needs of your family!
Do you only carrry adult clothing at the adult & home event?
No. At our events we carry furniture, bedding, formals, jewelry, shoes, ties, belts, designer perfumes, kitchen appliances, and season items. We always have a great amount of DESIGNER handbags, such as, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Brighton, and Vera Bradley.
Most consignment stores give 40-50%. Why do you give 70-75%?
Our consignors are very special to us! We believe our consignors deserve a fair price for their items and we want each consignor to make the most money possible to benefit their family.
Why is your event better than having my own garage sale or taking my valuable items to a consignment store?
We do most of the work for you! You just prepare your items and bring them to the store. We do all of the advertising and staff the event. You pick up your check and neatly-sorted items. We'll even have friendly workers there to help you and answer your questions! Plus, you will make more money than you would at a garage sale or consignment store.
Why do you emphasize EXCELLENT QUALITY so much?
No one wants to sort through, much less BUY, low quality items for their children. It is a time waster for everyone to put worn, stained, out-of-date items on a rack. That's why we insist on accepting only high quality items.
What kind of control does a consignor have over her items?
Several things: 1. She can select the price of each item. 2. She can choose whether she wants to sell some items for half price on the final sale days. As you can see consignors can be very involved if they wish.
Should a consignor allow their items to go HALF PRICE?
We strongly suggest that you allow your items to go half price. Many shoppers are looking for great deals on our final shopping sale days. Experience shows, that once a consignor goes to the effort to get the closets cleaned out at home, she doesn't want to bring those unsold items back home. It's much better to sell final items at half price than not to sell them at all!
